Introduction to SMM

SMM (Shipbuilding, Machinery & Marine Technology) is the world’s largest international maritime industry show. Held every two years, SMM is the major event for shipbuilding, ship operations, ship management, ship maintenance, and related maritime technology. This major event for the maritime industry will be held in Hamburg, Germany, on September 6–9, 2022.

North American companies are encouraged to apply for space either within their own national pavilions, as described below, or for independent, raw space in industry sector halls. In either case, McNabb Marketing will be your advocate and support you through the entire process from application to show time. For support from your North American representative, applications must come from your North American office, but your local representative or office in Europe is welcome to handle show logistics and details and to work as staff on your stand.

If you have not yet applied for your exhibit space, as your North American representative for the show we can assist you with your reservation in either the USA Pavilion or Canada Pavilion or with larger, independent space in the main product sectors of the show.

Exhibit space: International Pavilions

Exhibit space in the USA Pavilion or Canada Pavilion at SMM 2022 gives your company an opportunity to have a more substantial presence together with your embassy or consulate, while showing visitors your unique product or service for the maritime industry. Participating with an exhibit in the pavilions is easy, because your space includes just about everything required. You will need to bring only exhibitor personnel, your presentation, your graphics, and your brochures.

USA
The USA Pavilion is hosted by the U.S. Commercial Service in Berlin. U.S. companies and government agencies are encouraged to exhibit within the pavilion.

Canada
Canadian companies and government agencies are encouraged to exhibit within the Canada Pavilion.
